NYC- based writer and editor with a varied and extensive history in journalism. Benek has displayed many proficiencies before striking out with his Babalon moniker. Perhaps the most evident of which would be writing his autobiographical information in third person.

From an early age, 16, Benek began to involve himself on the periphery of the music he loved. First as a journalist, then as a producer and editor, and eventually as a lyricist. Never aspiring to be a musician himself, he instead sought to help bands express themselves and attain their lyrical ambitions.

As the years wore on and time galloped on, the now elderly and sagacious Benek, 28, has branched into many different fields.Be it PR, translation or whatever else, his ever-curious mentality, detail oriented mindset and unfunny jokes have all carried him through all of the roads less traveled and some of the more traveled ones too.

Over the course of his short and yet surprisingly storied career so far, Benek has had the immense honor of working with, for and alongside many excellent and renowned artists. From Behemoth and Watain to Megadeth and Gojira. From bands that tour the world and sell out venues globally to up and coming bands being set up by recent refugees. Benek has seen it all - and failing that, he has seen at least most of it.
